Formal letter

Friday, 25th Frebruary 2016

Dear Mr.Rivot,

I just wanted to send you a quick note letting you know that in our city there are not enough facilities and activities for teenagers such as cinemas, concerts, football stadiums... I think that instead of investing on to facilities, the council ought to spend that money and create new facilities to make this town grow.

I think there are many reasons, but here I comment some and especially the most important.

Firstly, people go to surrounding cities because there’s nowhere in this city where to have fun with friends, which causes most of the economy and the money is lost due to lack of services for youth. Eventhough it may not seem very important, it is because if you do not fix this problem in the future there will be only elderly people.

Secondly, because of the considerable amount of money lost, we cannot enjoy new technology in schools, universities, high schools... and that means that children can not grow up with the necessary knowledge and that others have more knowledge and for those the future will be very difficult when they search a job.

Finally, this has some consequences because the city will not have enough culture because without good teachers and spaces like libraries, museums,... and young people do not know where to go to learn about the history and traditions of our country. And this is very bad for the city.

You must do something about this situation to improve the city and do a better one and that we can help you. I do not know how you should do it, but I think it is possible and if you do, everyone will thank you. I hope the council will be able to change our city and make it a better one.

Yours sincerely,

Toni Ros
